Mandatory 1st post
something I wanted to avoid
Here we go... Several months of contemplating whether or not I'd actually start a blog or not have passed, and here we are. What held me back for so long? Many different reasons.
For starters I didn't, and still don't, think that my experiences are so extremely unique or that my insights will change your world. Also reading the n-th article explaining how to create your 'own personal brand' hasn't really helped a lot ... who wants to create a personal brand anyway? Don't we have enough things on our hands already? Aren't we spending too much time on how the outside world 'sees' us as is?
Then why did I decide to start blogging after all? During the past few years I noticed that I'm spending an increasing amount of time to scramble information together from various different sources, testing them out and eventually compiling my own 'how-to's' incorporating the best of previous sources combined with some personal input. So why not write the results down here and share them with all of you. Maybe they'll come in handy, maybe they won't... Time will tell.
So here we are, the first mandatory post written up and published. I failed to avoid the stereotypical first post as they usually don't contain any useful information, however the upside is that as of now I have no more excuse left not to post my findings, how-to's and views here.
... Regularly reinventing a slightly different wheel ...
